Honestly, this game feels like half sports, half combat. You’ve got all kinds of tools to mess with your friends—ram their carts, smack them with your ball, or just blast them from afar with an orbital laser.

If you want to coordinate (or just yell at each other), the game’s got voice chat and lets you set up private or public matches.

And then there’s the customization. You can kit out your golfer with all kinds of hats, shades, and goofy faces. Why use a regular club when you can whack the ball with a giant chicken leg or even a fish?
