GAME OVERVIEW
The Carmageddon engine is back and it’s even louder, nastier, and ready for a new era of pure, brutal vehicular combat. Picture this: it’s 2050, the world’s gone completely off the rails. After dark, nobody dares step outside—humanity hides in sky-high towers while mutated horrors called the Wasted swarm the streets.
There’s only one way out: the Carmageddon. These races are absolute chaos. Win, and you get power, rare loot, maybe even a shot at freedom. Lose, and you’re just another broken-down wreck. Only one driver gets to try for the spaceport beyond the mountains.
You? You’re just some desperate soul with a beat-up car, scrounged fuel, and whatever weapons you’ve managed to bolt on. Everyone else out there is just as desperate, and just as deadly. Northern Adam: The Saga of Revenge
The heart of it all is fast, violent racing. Think classic Carmageddon, but pushed to the edge—smashing, ramming, boosting, and sideswiping matter just as much as raw speed.
Every car handles like a beast, every weapon packs a punch, and the weather keeps messing with you. One race is slick with rain, the next shrouded in fog, then pitch-black night where you can barely see what’s about to rip your bumper off.
You’re not just running the same race over and over, either. The campaign’s roguelite structure means every run throws new events and routes at you. One night you’re dodging a gang ambush, the next you’re slamming through Wasted swarms for bonus credits.
Pull off wild stunts, blast through enemies, and you rack up cash to fix your ride, upgrade weapons, and unlock game-changing perks. Even if you get wrecked, not all is lost—your progress unlocks permanent upgrades and new stuff to mess with next time.
The competition? They’re vicious. Rival gangs will try to smash you off the road, and corrupt Enforcers are just waiting to strip your car for scrap. Each sector has its own Boss—a monster on wheels you’ll have to beat to move on. Every new district means tougher challenges and nastier opponents. You’ll need to drive smart, fight harder, and squeeze every ounce of power out of your build.
Then there’s nightfall. That’s when the Wasted come out in force. At first, mowing them down feels unstoppable, but let yourself slow down and they’ll tear your car to bits. Some have explosives, others shoot from a distance, and you never know what’s hiding in the shadows.
And if you somehow make it through all that? There’s one last nightmare waiting at the end—the final, monstrous guardian blocking your escape. If you want out, you’re going to have to earn it.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD

- Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
- Once The Carmageddon Rogue Shift is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Carmageddon Rogue Shift ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
- Open the Carmageddon Rogue Shift folder and run the exe application.
- Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
