Do you believe an afterlife really exists? Jukai Maze is a sci-fi suspense visual novel where every single choice you make sends the story in a completely new direction. Branching routes split again and again, leading to multiple endings as you gather fragments of truth hidden throughout the narrative.

A strange rumor circulates online about a research institute at the base of Mount Fuji that’s supposedly studying the afterlife.

Curious, Shiu convinces the protagonist, Haryu Ryoushi, to head into Aokigahara for what should be a simple vlog shoot. But once they step into the forest, things start to feel off. Exotica 2: Pet Shop Simulator

As night falls and thick fog rolls in they lose their way shiu suddenly disappears and Ryoushi is dragged into another reality waking up inside a bizarre psychiatric hospital that feels completely disconnected from the world he knows.

The people inside whisper unsettling theories that blur the line between sanity and delusion. Some claim the place is a dream, others insist it’s another planet, and a few swear it’s the afterlife itself no one agrees on what’s real anymore.

Jukai Maze features full Japanese voice acting, clean and well-structured storytelling, expressive character portraits, and a cinematic visual style.

Players can also explore the eerie forest freely through the unique Jukai Photo Mode uncovering secrets hidden within the sea of trees.
