You step into the shoes of Daniil Dankovsky, a sharp-minded doctor who can’t let go of his obsession with death and immortality.

He comes looking for secrets in a lonely steppe town, chasing rumors of a man who supposedly beat death. But when Daniil gets there, everything’s already broken. The plague is everywhere. The immortal man? He’s gone. You blew it. Sundered Soul: Chains of the Undying

You rewind the days and try again—fix what you messed up, maybe save the town, or at least pick who gets out alive. Every second counts. Every choice hits hard.

Medicine is your main tool. You’ll be face-to-face with the sick, picking through symptoms, searching for what’s real and what’s just rumor or panic. Not everyone’s honest. Some patients hide things, some flat-out lie, and others don’t even know what’s happening to them. You have to read between the lines if you want a shot at making a cure.

But it’s not just about medicine. You’re running the whole town—or trying to. Quarantines, rationing medicine, vaccinating people, shutting down riots, enforcing curfews, sending patrols. Your decisions shape everything. People might hate you for it. They might be scared or just plain furious, but you’re the one calling the shots.

You’re going to mess up. That’s a given. But you get to try again. Every path you take splits off in new directions, and you’ll find yourself making tough calls—sometimes saving the most people means letting a few go.

And don’t forget your own mind. Stress, obsession, apathy—sometimes even madness—twist how you see things and how you act. Lose your grip, and you might see truths nobody else can… or you might just fall apart.
