GAME OVERVIEW
Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is the best way to jump into the wild world where the Yakuza saga began. You’re dropped right into 1988 Japan—neon lights, roaring arcades, shady deals, and all—with Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima at the center of it. Both guys are legends now, but here, they’re just trying to survive the chaos and carve out their destinies.
You get to play as Kiryu, a young yakuza who suddenly finds himself tangled up in a dangerous conspiracy, and Majima, who’s running a cabaret club and desperate to claw his way back into the criminal underworld.
Their paths keep crossing, and before you know it, Tokyo and Osaka become the backdrop for one of the most memorable stories in the entire series. Skate Story
Fights are a blast—fast, flashy, and always over-the-top. Both Kiryu and Majima bring three distinct fighting styles, so you can switch things up mid-brawl, grab whatever’s lying around, and just go wild. It’s the kind of combat that feels easy at first, but there’s a ton to master if you stick with it.
When you’re not throwing punches, the nightlife pulls you in. You can dance at discos, crush it at darts, manage cabaret clubs, or lose hours in SEGA arcades filled with classic games. Honestly, there’s so much to do that you’ll probably forget about the main story for a while.
The Director’s Cut pushes things even further. There are new cutscenes that add extra layers to the story and give you more time with the characters. If you want the full Yakuza 0 experience, this version has it all.
And hey, there’s a new Red Light Raid online mode where you and your friends can pick from 60 characters and take on endless waves of enemies together. It’s messy, loud, and pure fun—perfect for fans who want to team up and cause havoc.
Already own the original? You can upgrade to the Director’s Cut digitally at a discount. Just a heads up: your save files won’t carry over because of some technical differences.
