GAME OVERVIEW

In the ASTRONEER: Megatech DLC, players gain the power to construct massive Megastructure projects that push their basebuilding skills to new heights, using both new and existing technology. Each Megastructure offers its own identity, gameplay style, and rewards, opening the door to fresh possibilities across the solar system.

You can take advantage of Megatech in any playthrough since the DLC is fully compatible with existing saves—continue with your current progress or start a brand-new journey and begin building right away.

The DLC launches alongside a free update for all players. This update introduces new items and the ability to create a Megastructure that enables automated interplanetary transportation, allowing resources and technology to move seamlessly between planets. Five Hearts Under One Roof season2

A new era of basebuilding begins as you choose the perfect spot, fire a Construction Anchor into place via a surprisingly safe space catapult, and gather resources to feed a massive drone that constructs your Megastructure. Whether you collect materials manually with the terrain tool or automate complex production networks, your creations will assemble themselves piece by piece.

Five Megastructure projects are available, some free and others included in the DLC. The free Intermodal Terminal acts as a personal shipping hub, letting you transport items and resources between planets using three shuttles and full automation support. The free Distribution Launcher System helps kickstart your mega builds by firing anchors precisely where you need them.

Alongside the Megastructures, all players benefit from new quality-of-life improvements and items, such as icon signs for cleaner base organization, elevated walkways, and an automatic tether-dropping tool. The DLC also includes exclusive cosmetic rewards for those looking to personalize their Astroneer even further.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Astroneer Megatech is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Astroneer Megatech ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Astroneer Megatech folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
