GAME OVERVIEW

So this game’s set in Japan during the ’90s, way out in this remote village that’s basically buried in snow. You’re working night shifts for this shady operation called RedLantern — it’s like the biggest illegal deep-web marketplace in the country.

But it’s not just about crime — there’s something else going on. Something cursed. Some of the stuff you see on-screen doesn’t stay on-screen.

Your boss doesn’t care about the danger though — they just want results. So your job is to track illegal shipments, dig into sketchy users, write up reports, and try to survive until 6 AM.

That’s one full hour in real time. There’s no saving, no checkpoints. It’s completely run-based, so every screw-up sends you right back to the beginning of your shift. But each time you get a little deeper, uncover more of the network’s secrets, and start to figure out what the hell is really going on.

There are over 400 listings, all with their own images and weird little details. Your very first run kicks off with this intense 10 to 15-minute prologue that sets the tone — and trust me, it gets dark fast.

If you’re feeling brave, there’s also a Hardcore Mode. That adds a second handler you have to answer to, plus over 50 exclusive new users and posts you won’t find in normal difficulty.

Coins are your main currency, and they’re basically your lifeline. You earn them by finishing reports, exposing shady users, or gambling on RedLantern itself.

Then you can spend them on sketchy software or even risk meeting up for sketchy hardware pickups in dark alleys. But nothing comes free — every upgrade you buy has some kind of trade-off, and some can seriously backfire.
