GAME OVERVIEW

Asteroids and Aliens is a modern arcade shooter that gives a nod to the classic 1979 arcade game.

You can play with either a keyboard or controller—just check out the instructions on the Controller page in the main menu.

You can start a fresh game or, if you’ve played before and hit at least one checkpoint, pick up right from there using the “Continue” option on the Gameplay page. Celestials Door

The game has 20 levels, plus a final endgame level. In each level, you’ll need to complete specific tasks and collect a random machine part. Once you finish all tasks, the gateway to the next level will unlock, letting you move on.

Each level has random changes to item, enemy, and machine part locations, so it keeps things fresh.

You’ve got a variety of weapons to help you out, including Missiles, Bullets, Lasers, Smart Bombs, and a Nuke EMP. Missiles and Bullets are unlimited, but the other weapons are limited, so use them wisely. Lasers are great for clearing asteroids, while the Nuke EMP is for taking out nearby enemies within the screen’s range. Smart Bombs lock onto enemies and destroy them on their own—just fire and forget.

Your retro-style rocketship controls are pretty much like the classic Asteroids arcade game: you can rotate 360° left or right, thrust forward at any speed depending on how long you hold the button, and reverse when needed to avoid enemies or fire back while pulling away.

This is a 2D top-down space shooter that starts out easy but ramps up to fast-paced action as you progress through the levels.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Asteroids and Aliens is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Asteroids and Aliens ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Asteroids and Aliens folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
