GAME OVERVIEW

I made Dark and Deep because I wanted to bring a totally fresh look to horror games. No other game out there looks like mine. My art style mixes the vibe of 19th-century artist Gustave Doré with a modern twist.

I’ve always been obsessed with conspiracies and mythology, and Dark and Deep is my way of sharing that passion with the horror game scene. Guayota

You play as Samuel Judge, a huge fan of the “Dark and Deep” conspiracy podcast. When you get thrown into a creepy, dangerous world, you’ve gotta survive—and you’re not alone.

Use magical picture frames to battle hidden monsters and find crucial items these frames are like portals into a nightmarish realm but also help you push back the darkness uncover the conspiracy before the shadows take you down.

Finally Listen to the podcast and see how it all gets way too real. You’ll get wrapped up in a dramatic story where reality and the bizarre collide.

Solve physics-based puzzles with ancient, cryptic machines control gravity and navigate through deadly fog. Use rare light embers to guide you, but watch out—the shadow creatures are after your light.

Dark and Deep has a totally unique style, featuring art from Gustave Doré, known for his detailed black-and-white illustrations of myth and history.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Dark and Deep is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Dark and Deep ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Dark and Deep folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
