**Type Your Fate** is a throwback to the classic text-based games of the 80s, where you’ll need to use your keyboard and quick thinking to escape from an abandoned house. But beware—you’re not alone in there. Can’t revert

In this old-school interactive fiction game, you’ll control everything through a command console, moving around and interacting with objects just like the iconic Zork games. With creepy illustrations and sound effects, it’s got a retro vibe but with a fresh twist.

You’re trapped in a spooky, deserted house with a maniacal assassin on the hunt. Your goal? Crack the code for the exit door and get out before the killer catches up with you. Stay silent, be quick, and make smart decisions to escape!

Feel the tension as if you’re really inside the abandoned house.

Up to three different killers are out to get you—don’t let them succeed.

The exit code, clue locations, and even the killer can change each time.

Just like the 80s, there’s no hand-holding. No saves, no mouse or gamepad support—everything’s done via command line. And yes, Game Over means starting from scratch.

Change up the game with mods—alter the assassin’s voice, faces, sound effects, music, or even tweak the rooms and animations.

Once The Type Your Fate is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Type Your Fate ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Type Your Fate folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
