GAME OVERVIEW

So basically, every level keeps track of the points you earn by grabbing items. Those points aren’t just for bragging rights either—they actually affect your final score and even make the boss fights tougher depending on how much you’ve racked up.

Bombs are another key thing to watch They are lifesavers in tough spots, and you can restock them by picking up bomb items.

You can carry up to six at once, so managing them wisely is super important. And of course, the character you pick changes the whole vibe of the run. Lost Soul Aside

When it comes to power-ups, you’ve got the usual essentials: firepower upgrades that make your shots stronger, bombs that add to your count, and score items to push your points higher.

Then there’s Faintia—she’s now a playable character in this version, redesigned with her own unique laser that lets her fire continuous attacks. Her style feels different compared to Exelica and Cruelica which keeps things fresh.

Then there’s Enhanced Story Mode, which dives deeper into the world with around 70 still illustrations, all fully voiced and now upgraded to high resolution. It really makes the game feel more alive.

On top of that, the Enhanced version adds a slick animated opening movie made by P.A.WORKS, with the theme song “GRAVITY ERROR” by Ayane.

And if you’re into competition, the Steam rankings are where you can flex your skills, with a special ranking just for Faintia players—so yeah, you can literally aim to be the best Faintia main in the world. For practice, there’s a Training Mode, and if you’re into that classic arcade feel, there’s even vertical screen support in Arcade Mode.

5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
