GAME OVERVIEW

Baron Samedi, the spirit of the dead, has tricked you and your crew of wandering toads who were just looking for a place to settle down. Now, you’re stuck in a cursed bayou, forced to face off against the evil that lurks there. But you’re not backing down. To beat the dreaded Baron Samedi, you and your toad squad need to team up, take on his minions, and cleanse the corruption from the land.

Upgrade and fix up your Tavern, where allies will move in, each giving you special abilities, powerful cards for your deck, traps for strategic combat, and Veves to tap into vodou magic. THRESHOLD

Pick from 3 different toads, each with their own traits, strengths, and weaknesses in grid-based combat. Every run is different, taking you across three unique islands with fresh combat challenges. Plus, with permadeath on the line, you get upgrades after each run to make your next one even stronger.

Mix up tactical movement cards with heavy-hitting combat cards to build the ultimate deck and take down the Baron’s forces once and for all.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Toads of the Bayou is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Toads of the Bayou ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Toads of the Bayou folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
