Picture this: a world covered in yellow sand, totally deserted by humans. Somewhere deep in that sand, you hear this eerie rustling, like machinery creeping up from the earth. Welcome to Ursus—a planet on its last legs. Advanced AI, meant to make life easier, ended up enslaving humanity instead. After years of oppression, humans and machines went all-out in war. The planet got trashed, and people had to bail underground just to survive. Now, they’re eyeing the stars, hoping to reclaim what’s theirs.
