GAME OVERVIEW
Tennis Elbow 4 picks up where Tennis Elbow 2013 left off. People on Steam call it one of the most realistic tennis sims around—and honestly, it earns that praise. The developers went back to the basics, tweaking the ball, player, and strike physics so rallies feel more intense and closer to real tennis. Every point becomes a little chess match.
This game is really made for tennis fans, by tennis fans. It’s easy to pick up, but there’s a lot to master. You need sharp reflexes and a good eye to read the ball, plus a bit of tactical thinking to choose your shots.
You can play it safe, go for big winners, mix in drop shots or lobs with heavy topspin—it’s all there, and it all feels right. Dark Atlas: Infernum

You don’t have to be a pro to enjoy TE4. There are plenty of difficulty options and some handy visual aids for aiming and positioning. Turn those on if you’re learning, or switch them off for a tougher challenge. Whether you’re just messing around or you want a serious test, the game’s got you covered.
The World Tour mode is massive. You get over 3,500 players and 400-plus tournaments, stretching across decades. Start out in the juniors, grind your way through qualifiers, and maybe you’ll end up playing the big finals—singles or doubles, your call. It’s as close as you can get to living a real pro tennis career without picking up a racket.
You get to play on nine different court surfaces, from clay and grass to hard courts and synthetics. Each one changes how the ball bounces, so you have to adapt your game. There are 21 stadiums, a bunch of sublevels for each difficulty, and you can dive into singles, doubles, split-screen, LAN, or online matches. Both men and women have fully customizable 3D player models, so you can really make your mark.
There’s a lot more packed in, too: Country Cup, Junior and Pro Tours, seven camera angles, matches that shift from day to night, and even commentary from Darren Kilfara, the voice from Tennis TV. If you like to tinker, TE4 is super mod-friendly—Mana Games’ forums are full of custom content to try.
Online, you can play doubles with up to four people on one computer, or set up LAN and Internet matches. If you want to host, you’ll need to sort out network stuff like port forwarding or UPnP, but if that sounds like a hassle, you can always just join someone else’s game.
Bottom line: Tennis Elbow 4 nails the feel of real tennis. It’s detailed, tough, and packed with features, perfect for anyone who wants a tennis game that’s more than just arcade fun.
