Below Zero takes you back to the alien ocean world of Planet 4546B — but this time, things are way colder and way more dangerous. You’re dropped into a freezing arctic region with just your gear, your instincts, and one huge goal: figure out what happened to your sister.

Alterra bailed from the planet in a hurry after some shady incident, leaving behind abandoned research stations and scattered clues. As you explore, you’ll piece together what really went down from logs, artifacts and debris. The world’s massive and packed with new biomes. You’ll swim through the glowing twists of Twisty Bridges, weave past the massive crystal formations of the Crystal Caverns, climb snowy mountains, explore icy caves, and dodge volcanic Thermal Vents while hunting for ancient alien tech. Everywhere you go, there’s something new to discover and something dangerous watching.

Survival is not just about swimming around. You’ll build habitats to stay alive, craft tools to explore further, and roll out in style with vehicles like the Snowfox hoverbike or the customizable Seatruck. Every piece of gear you make opens up new ways to explore and stay alive.

The alien wildlife is a mix of adorable and terrifying. You might be chilling with Pengwings one second, then trying not to become lunch for a Shadow Leviathan the next. Every creature adds to the mystery and the danger.

The cold is its own enemy here. Blizzards, freezing water, and icy winds will kill you if you’re not ready. You’ll need to craft warm gear, sip hot coffee, and huddle near Thermal Lilies just to keep from turning into an ice cube.
