Life on the road is rough. You’re always up against the cold, gnawing hunger, exhaustion, and whatever’s falling apart on your ride. Forget to watch your fuel, food, tools, or ammo, and your run’s over—simple as that. Out here, supplies aren’t just things to trade; they’re the only reason you’re still breathing. If you can’t manage your gear, you’re done.

Trading isn’t just a side thing—it’s how the world keeps turning. Each shelter has its own vibe, its own stuff to buy, sell, or barter. Sometimes you’ll meet drifters who’ll swap rare finds for a loaf of bread or a few bullets. You could walk away richer—or lose everything—depending on how you play it.

You don’t have to go it alone, either. Along the way, you can pick up companions, build out your crew, and shape everyone’s skills however you want. Anyone can learn anything, so you’ve got the freedom to build a team and a deck that fits your style.

Every call you make matters. The choices you pick ripple out, changing your squad, the folks you meet, and how your story unfolds out in the snowfields. There’s a ton of lore and no two journeys are exactly the same—every shelter, every blizzard, every gamble out there brings something new to discover.

Once The Snow Ash is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Snow Ash ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Snow Ash folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
