GAME OVERVIEW

Selaco is a fresh shooter running on GZDoom, packed with intense action scenes, destructible environments, smart AI, and a deep story. It’s inspired by F.E.A.R. for its action, blending classic retro-FPS vibes from QUAKE and DOOM with modern touches. You play as Dawn, an ACE Security Captain, newly promoted and digging into Selaco’s shady history. Before she can get too far, explosions and armed invaders shake Selaco. While the game features large-scale conflict, it zeroes in on Dawn’s personal journey.

Selaco is seriously story-driven. The destructible environments are next-level—every bullet interacts with materials realistically, turning offices into rubble with smashed paintings, broken tables, and debris everywhere.

Taking cues from FEAR, the AI in Selaco is sharp. Enemies are aware of each other and work together to take you down. They’ll keep their distance if you pressure them, rush you if you hide or run out of ammo, and throw grenades if you stay in one spot too long.

Selaco features a full original soundtrack by a seasoned game composer. For immersion, they’ve got professional voice actors, including Melissa Medina voicing Dawn, with more cast announcements to come.

After beating levels, you can replay them in Incursion Mode, facing endless enemies to earn campaign bonuses. New Incursion Levels and mutators unlock as you progress.

Create new campaigns, tweak or make your own content, or port your favorite GZDoom mods.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Selaco is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Selaco ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Selaco folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
