It hints at something big, maybe your big break, and it all points to the mysterious Castle Woods Sanatorium. There’s something about that place you can’t ignore. Something’s off, and you feel it in your gut. You decide to go. You grab your bag and set out for Castle Woods, chasing a secret that could turn your whole life upside down.

Every week, you face new patient files—fresh puzzles that test your instincts. You pick the tests, uncover hidden symptoms, and choose the treatments. Do you stick to the rules, or take a chance on risky, experimental methods? Will you show compassion, or play hardball? Do you play it safe or try to outsmart the system for your own gain? Inside those spotless halls, darkness hides in plain sight. You’ll meet desperate patients, schemers, and all sorts of strange personalities. You dig for clues, connect the dots, and slowly peel back the layers of truth—about the sanatorium, and maybe about yourself, too.

This is a card-driven workplace sim. Step into the shoes of a 1923 doctor, working with the crude tools and questionable beliefs of the time. You’ll diagnose, treat, or sometimes hold back—each choice leaves a mark. Pick between strict, old-school methods or try to bring some humanity to a broken system, but know that every decision matters.

Every patient is a mystery. Their stories unfold through layered cards—symptoms are hidden, revealed, or misunderstood, all filtered through your limited knowledge. You’ll play through a full campaign across four chapters, digging deeper into Castle Woods and the tangled lives inside its walls. The story branches, and so do the endings. Your choices decide who gets better, who suffers, and what kind of person you become in the end.

There are over 100 cards to discover—symptoms, illnesses, tests, and treatments, all inspired by the uneasy history of psychiatry. Upgrade your treatments to be more humane, or double down on whatever it takes to keep your cover.
