GAME OVERVIEW

Ratatan is a rhythm based roguelike action game that mixes side scrolling combat with the fun of keeping up with a beat.

You can squad up online with up to four players and jump straight into wild battles where over a hundred characters clash in chaotic melees.

Everything kicks off in Rataport, a colorful little island that feels like a toy box brought to life. The place is home to Ratatans—these quirky, animal-like creatures that all look different but share the same dream: reaching “The Everafter” to meet the Goddess who supposedly lives there.

With everyone’s hopes on their shoulders, the Ratatans set off on this adventure. No matter how many times they fail they keep moving forward never giving up on their dream.

The gameplay is all about rhythm. You’ll be giving commands to your Cobuns—ordering them around, positioning them, or pulling them back—by staying on beat. Your timing and judgment matter a lot because moving the Ratatans freely means you need to know when to attack and when to retreat.

And of course, the whole thing is wrapped in beautiful 2D animation. The devs really leaned into giving each character a unique personality and energy, so every action feels alive and stylish.

Open the Ratatan folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
