GAME OVERVIEW

PROJEKT GODHAND doesn’t care about the careful precision most rhythm games ask for. Here, you’re supposed to cheat.

Seriously—the whole point is to break the rules. It’s an 8-button challenge where you’re meant to go wild, like a gorilla on a keyboard, smashing your way through impossible charts with what the game calls “holy mecha fists.”

You don’t have to worry about hitting the exactly right key, either. The game’s “close enough” system means any key on the right half of your keyboard works for the right side, and the same goes for the left. MotorCubs RC

Those ridiculous streams of notes you’d normally need perfect finger control for? Just mash big chords and you’re good.

But don’t think you can just mindlessly bang away—the Heat Gauge keeps things interesting.

Every time you hit a key, even when there’s nothing to hit, your gauge fills up. It’s both a limiter and a massive score boost.

Push too hard, and you overheat, but if you play it smart, you can pump up your score and climb the ranks. So yeah, it’s chaos, but there’s a method to it.
