Outbreak Island: Secrets of the Mysterious Island flips your childhood paradise into something way more sinister. Instead of sunny beaches, you get hidden labs, spooky tech, and weird supernatural stuff lurking everywhere. TinyBuild dropped this open-world survival adventure on March 25, 2026.

Here, you play as a son hunting for clues left by his missing father. You land on a deserted island that was once a hotspot for secret experiments—and pretty quickly, you realize it’s stuck in an endless loop of mechanical resurrection.

Each night, this freaky radiation beam sweeps across the island, jumpstarting rusty robots and old gadgets. But that’s not all—the beam also brings the island’s mutated monsters out of hiding, and trust me, they’re nasty. DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined

The backbone of the game is the Refuge & Workshop system, built at your father’s old farm. During the day, you trek through wild terrain scavenging medicines, fuel, and scraps to reinforce your safe zone. The farm’s your base—you grow food and craft weapons there, prepping for the night ahead.

Your lifeline, though, is your souped-up vehicle. It’s a rolling home, letting you haul huge loads, transport gear, and lug trees to the sawmill. You’ve got to keep an eye on power, durability, and fuel, because getting stranded after dark almost always means game over.

Here’s what makes Outbreak Island different: nights aren’t just for hiding. The Night-time Reactivation feature pushes you to go out after sundown. Under the mystical beam’s light, you can top off your gas at abandoned stations, smelt rare metals in reanimated furnaces, and crack the biometric locks on hidden bunkers.

But—no surprise—this is when the mutants really get dangerous. You’ll constantly ask yourself if those rare supplies are worth the risk, since the monsters ramp up as darkness falls.
