Roots Devour drops you into a forest that barely breathes, where ancient roots suddenly wake up hungry—your hunger. You’re not here to save the world or keep things fair. You’re here to consume, to spread, and to twist everything in your path.

The creatures you find? They’re just food, and the land itself is nothing but a meal waiting to be devoured. Forest, swamp, snow—it all belongs to you, and you won’t stop until everything’s broken down and swallowed whole.

Once you make a connection, it sticks for good, carving out new paths and tightening your grip. Each bond drags you further from anything familiar, driving you toward total control.

Eventually, humans show up—lost, scared, carrying secrets they’d rather keep hidden. You tower over them, completely free to meddle, push, or decide exactly what happens next. Maybe you help them. Maybe you crush them. It’s your call.

Every action shapes where the story goes and how it ends. Sometimes you leave a trail of bodies, but from your side of things, it can almost feel like mercy. The difference fades as your power grows.

Roots Devour is set in a world that’s off-kilter and deeply strange—think Lovecraft, but with more hunger. You get this deep, strategic card gameplay with hundreds of cards to mix and match, four eerie regions to conquer, resources to juggle, puzzles to crack, and a deck to build your way.

Along the way, you’ll meet seven key characters, dig into their stories, and unlock different endings depending on the choices you make.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

1. Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
2. Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
3. Once The Occupy Mars: The Game is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Occupy Mars: The Game ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
4. Open the Occupy Mars: The Game folder and run the exe application.
5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
