GAME OVERVIEW

Today was rough—no surprise there. The shift supervisor spent the whole day yelling about your so-called laziness. It’s hard to care about “productivity” when half your coworkers got the boot and nobody’s seen a paycheck in months.

You slogged home through snowy streets, past crumbling concrete blocks and sagging roofs, ghosts of a town that actually meant something before the steel mill went under.

That’s where the game kicks in. It mixes horror and survival, pulling you into two nerve-wracking phases. First, you’re stuck in your apartment, listening for footsteps and knocks at weird hours. Someone wants in. Could be harmless, could be trouble. It’s on you—do you open the door or leave it shut? Make the wrong call and you’re out, running for your life.

Phase two is nothing but pure panic. You’re bolting through creepy hallways and empty courtyards, something awful on your heels. You can’t stop and you can’t look back. Find safety, or it’s over.

When the doorbell blasts you awake in the middle of the night, you don’t know who’s waiting outside. Maybe it’s just a friend. Maybe it’s someone who hates your guts. Or maybe you’ve never seen them before, and you don’t want to start now. Every choice matters—open up and you could lose everything. Stay inside and you might be safe, or you might just be trapped.

Your apartment looks like a museum for the Soviet era, everything worn down, nothing new. Still, the little things you love—old photos, a chipped mug, a faded blanket—give the place a kind of stubborn warmth. It’s not much, but it’s yours. And sometimes, it’s all that stands between you and the darkness outside, waiting for the next knock.
