GAME OVERVIEW
Max and Chloe’s story finally gets its real ending in Life is Strange: Reunion, which just dropped on March 26, 2026. Deck Nine Games brought the pair back for this direct sequel to 2024’s Double Exposure, tossing them right into the chaos at Caledon University.
It opens with Max stumbling onto campus while a massive fire tears through everything. She doesn’t waste time—using her new “Polaroid leap” power, she goes back three days to hunt down whoever started the blaze and stop it before things get out of hand.
Here’s the big change: for the first time, you get to play as both Max and Chloe, switching between Max’s time-rewind detective work and Chloe’s wild, in-your-face adventures. But when you need to push harder, Chloe barges in with her signature Backtalk mechanic—just like in Before the Storm—picking fights and talking her way past locked doors and stubborn suspects, doing things Max would never dare.
The game actually lets you set your own story canon at the very start. Did you save Chloe or Arcadia Bay back in the first game? Was Max and Chloe’s relationship just friends, or something more? Your choices lay the groundwork here.
There’s a new mystery at Caledon University, and things get tense. Along with solving the fire, you have to deal with Chloe’s unnerving nightmare visions—she keeps glimpsing alternate timelines and it starts to wear on both of them.
Gameplay swings between Max’s careful, layered puzzles and Chloe’s bold, fast-paced arguments, keeping things fresh.
Square Enix keeps saying this is it—the Max and Chloe finale. They’re ending the saga for good, no matter what choices you make, with proper emotional payoff.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD

- Once The Life is Strange: Reunion is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Life is Strange: Reunion ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
- Open the Life is Strange: Reunion folder and run the exe application.
- Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
