So Letters of War is one of those games that really hits you in the feels. It’s a 2D adventure, but way more than just another side-scroller — it’s actually based on a true story from the developer’s own family.

You play as Liam, a British carpenter who signs up to fight in World War II to protect the people he loves back home. It’s all about love, sacrifice, and what it really means to be brave.
