GAME OVERVIEW

Glitchpunk is a total blast for anyone into high-octane action, explosive shootouts, and that cyberpunk vibe. It’s a top-down shooter inspired by classic games but decked out in a futuristic neon style. You’ve got tons of guns, melee weapons, and vehicles to wreak havoc with, all while cruising through wild police chases and jamming to futuristic beats on your stolen car’s radio.

You’ll run, hack, steal, drive, shoot, and blast your way through a crazy criminal underworld. Make some friends, but be ready to make even more enemies. It’s kill or be killed, even if it means taking out everything you care about. You Are Grounded

But there’s more to it: the dystopian streets, back alleys, and towering skyscrapers of Glitchpunk tackle themes like transhumanism, xenophobia, and religion, along with a raw, human story about relationships, self-discovery, and betrayal. The wild future filled with sex and drugs raises some heavy questions, but one thing’s for sure: humanity is all about perspective.

You play as an android with a special ability called glitch which lets you break free from your programming. Your mission? Take down the oppressive governments of this post-nuclear world and shape your own agenda. Explore four unique locations packed with tech-obsessed gangs, drugged-up crazies, and controlled by powerful megacorporations. Pick up contracts, earn cash, and upgrade yourself as you go!

Once The Glitchpunk is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Glitchpunk ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Glitchpunk folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
