GAME OVERVIEW

Galactic Vault is where the wild rush of an arena shooter crashes into the deep tinkering of a roguelite. It just landed yesterday—March 10, 2026—marking the first big swing from Belgian indie team MeepMeep Games.

You play as a former VOLT operative, sneaking through a future ruled by greedy corporations that hoard every scrap of advanced tech. Your mission’s simple: break into high-security vaults, dodge killer robots, and piece together a weapon strong enough to take down whatever monster waits at the bottom.

What really grabs you is the Modular Weapon System. It basically dares you to mess around every run. You start with some basic hardware, but as you tear through rooms, you find all kinds of attachments that totally change your gun. The Artifactory

One minute you’re holding a dinky pistol, the next you’ve Frankensteined it into a shotgun with a crazy spread, or maybe you turn an SMG into something that snipes from across the room. And it doesn’t stop at bullets—you can bolt on under-barrel launchers, stack weird movement upgrades, and pull off combos that make you feel like you broke the game (in the best way).

Getting through the vault is all about quick reflexes and sharp, creative “build-crafting.” If your gun’s setup isn’t on point, those late-game tanks and drones will wipe you out fast.

For anyone itching to do more than beat the devs’ challenges, there’s the In-Game Vault Editor. It’s surprisingly deep—you can build your own levels from scratch, mess with the length, crank up the enemy count, or make things as unforgiving as you like.

Then you toss your creation onto the Steam Workshop for everyone to try. So whether you’re sliding through tight corridors nailing flashy kills, or losing hours fine-tuning your gun’s fire rate, Galactic Vault throws you into a loop that’s fast, brutal, and always tempting you back for one more run. Around here, dying just means it’s time to head back to the workshop and cook up a nastier build.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Galactic Vault is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Galactic Vault ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Galactic Vault folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
