GAME OVERVIEW

Your story kicks off with a bang—a plane crash that dumps you on a wild, tropical island. You’re not alone, though. There’s an older survivor who shows you the ropes, just enough so you don’t starve or get yourself killed on day one. As you poke around, you start to unravel the island’s secrets. Curiosity pays off here. The smarter your choices, the better your shot at making it out alive.

Digging is your lifeline. If you want rare resources and the good stuff, you have to get your hands dirty. There’s a catch, though—every shovel swing eats up your energy.

Go too long without eating or patching yourself up, and you’ll find yourself wiped out. The deeper you go, the greater the rewards, but poor planning can leave you stuck underground, tired, and in the dark. Monterey Jack

Crafting sits at the center of the game. You’ll set up stations to turn raw ores into something useful. Build tools, fix your gear, and piece together parts to get your busted plane flying again. Everything you collect—fish, minerals, even scraps—matters. If you want to leave, you need to use every resource wisely.

Power’s another big hurdle. You have to keep generators running and burn the right fuel. If you’re lucky, you might find old solar panels you can fix up. Get those working, and you’ll have a steady supply of energy for your base. As your systems get better, you can automate the boring stuff and spend more time exploring.

You can tackle all this on your own, but it’s a whole different game with friends. Grab up to three other players and split the chores: keeping the base running, digging for treasure, or just watching each other’s backs. With a team, you’ll have an easier time handling whatever the island throws at you.

The island itself feels alive. Storms roll in, weird lights flicker across the sky—sometimes it feels like anything could happen. You’ll need gear like jetpacks and elevator rigs to get to the hard-to-reach spots. And you’ll want to keep your inventory tight, so you’re always ready for whatever comes next.

Once The Dig Island is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Dig Island ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Dig Island folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
