GAME OVERVIEW

Deathground is straight-up nightmare fuel in the best way. It’s a survival horror game where you’re basically dropped into these creepy, abandoned research facilities that used to be secure—until dinosaurs took over. And these aren’t just dumb dinos walking in circles.

They actually hunt you using sight, sound, and movement, so you’ve gotta stay sharp or you’re dino dinner. You can go in solo if you’re brave (or crazy), or team up with up to three other people. Either way, it’s intense.

You get thrown into these maps with some sketchy objectives to complete, like recovering data or hitting mission goals, all while trying not to get ripped apart. Every run is different too, thanks to procedural generation, so you never really know what’s coming. Seafarer The Ship Sim

One minute it’s quiet, the next you hear footsteps and you’re booking it to hide. You’ve got tools to help, like motion detectors, tranq rifles, medkits, and hacking devices—but how you use them totally depends on the situation and your team’s plan.

Teamwork actually matters here. If you split up or mess around, the dinos will take you out quick. But if you play it smart, coordinate, and use your gear right, you’ve got a shot at surviving and extracting.

That said, if you wanna try going in completely alone, the game lets you do that too. It’s way scarier and way more intense, but also kinda awesome if you’re into that isolated survival horror vibe.

One of the coolest things? You can choose whether the dinosaurs have feathers or not. So if you’re into the more realistic, modern look, go for it. Or if you prefer the classic Jurassic Park-style scaly dinos, you can rock that too—or mix it up however you want.

The whole visual style of the game is gritty and dark, with each area having its own vibe and danger zones that keep you on edge the whole time.

And yeah, the music is nuts. It’s got this super creepy, cinematic score by a BAFTA-nominated composer, and it totally adds to the tension.

Everything—from the sound design to the environments—just makes you feel like you’re trapped in this messed-up place where literally everything wants to kill you. If you like games that keep your heart racing and force you to think on your feet, Deathground is definitely worth checking out.

Once The Deathground is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Deathground ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Deathground folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
