GAME OVERVIEW

Cursed Blood is a brutal, high-speed “bloodpunk” samurai roguelike that pits a group of ruthless, katana-wielding apes against a powerful mafia syndicate. Released on April 2, 2026, the game centers on a revenge-fueled rampage to reclaim the sacred Shrine of Vermillion.

Whether playing solo or in a 1–4 player co-op session—which seamlessly blends local “couch” play with online multiplayer—you must deliver retribution through a combat system defined by dismemberment, samurai precision, and visceral finishers.

The core gameplay loop revolves around high-stakes melee combat where you dash, deflect, and chain together lightning-fast strikes. Mercury Elopement Syndrome

A unique “blood-fueled” mechanic allows you to heal by consuming the life force of fallen enemies, directly feeding the hunger of the Shrine.

The challenge scales through “World Mutations” that twist the rules of combat and reshape the environment for every run. These mutations are essential for facing a roster of evolving bosses that transform into more vicious forms mid-fight.
