GAME OVERVIEW

In the year of 2024 Crypt Custodian is a super cool metroidvania/Zelda-style game where you clean up the afterlife. You play as Pluto, a cheeky cat who just kicked the bucket and ended up in the afterlife’s palace. After a chaotic run-in with the Afterlife Guardian, Kendra, you’re booted out of the palace and sentenced to an eternity of cleaning. Echoes of The Backrooms

Explore the huge areas around the palace, fend off monsters with your trusty broom, and unlock new abilities to expand your ma solve puzzles, find hidden secrets, and even plan a sneaky comeback to get back into the palace!

You’ll meet other misfit ghosts who live outside the palace, learn their tragic backstories, and hang out at The Sinner’s Inn to chat with them and upgrade your gear.

Battle epic bosses, tackle ruined dungeons, and gather upgrades and new abilities to mix and match and customize your play style explore a massive world full of secrets and choose your own path to uncover the afterlife’s mysteries at your own pace.

Once The Crypt Custodian is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Crypt Custodian ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Crypt Custodian folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
