GAME OVERVIEW

This game blends real-time strategy with base-building, but throws you up against something totally different. The Calyx are these relentless, plant-like aliens. If you don’t stop them early, they spread like wildfire and swallow up the map. Give them an inch, and before you know it, the whole planet turns against you.

You wake up as the only survivor on an Avaris Corporation mining ship. It’s been over a hundred years, and now you’re stranded on this dead world.

The ship’s AI barely gives you a moment to get your bearings—just dumps a pile of mining tasks on you and leaves you to fend for yourself. FRONT MISSION 3: Remake

Your job? Build a base that can actually keep you alive. Connect power lines, set up harvesters and refineries to dig out ore. Ship those resources into orbit to rack up credits. At the same time, you have to throw up walls, turrets, tanks, and artillery to hold your ground and fight off the Calyx.

Energy is everything. Lose power, and your defenses drop at the worst moments. Hunt down rare resources to make your mining faster and your army stronger. Link your buildings to boosters for extra power, faster healing, or quicker production.

There’s no single strategy that works every time. Maybe you dig in and slowly push out with a fortress, or go on the move and hit the Calyx before they can spread. Try different spots to start, mess around with new tactics and unit combos, and see what works against all the different Calyx types.

Keep your Data Archives safe to earn Research Points and unlock tech upgrades. Build monsters like the Goliath tank, light things up with flamethrowers, or rain down orbital lasers. Jump into campaign or skirmish, run into wild new Calyx forms, take on the Liquidator AI, and fight to take the planet back—or maybe find a way off it.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Calyx is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Calyx ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Calyx folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
