Bye Sweet Carole drops you into a super creepy, but beautifully drawn world that blends old-school horror with the kind of animation you’d see in classic childhood movies. It’s made by Chris Darril — yeah, the guy behind the Remothered series — so you already know it’s going to mess with your head in the best way possible.

The story takes place in early 1900s England, right when the world’s starting to change, especially with the women’s rights movement kicking off.

But this isn’t some happy fantasy land — it’s controlled by some seriously messed up characters like Mr. Kyn, a shady villain pulling strings, and Velenia, a terrifying owl that’s definitely not just a regular bird. Oh, and there are these freaky things called tar bunnies that are basically nightmare fuel.

The game’s got a lot of that nostalgic feel, like a throwback to classic animated movies and 90s adventure games — but darker. There’s a cool twist too: you can actually transform into a rabbit to help get around or escape danger, which adds a fun (and weirdly cute) layer to the gameplay.
