GAME OVERVIEW
Burden of Truth is the next game in the Burden of Proof series, and it’s a big one. This time, it dives into a part of the original story that wasn’t told before — a full chapter that’s finally been fleshed out and turned into its own full game.
The story kicks off about a year after Conrad Cross’s mentor was poisoned. Now he’s a well-known prosecutor, and he takes on a case that looks simple at first — but quickly turns into something way more complicated. There’s a conspiracy going on, and someone’s messing with the info that actually makes it to court.
But then things take a darker turn. Just as this case starts to wrap up, Cross learns that his childhood friend, Sarah Fletcher, has been arrested — accused of murder. ACRES
At the same time, a dangerous rebel group called 209 Dive is launching an attack to get their hands on something called the Zero Data.
Gameplay-wise, Burden of Truth blends third-person exploration with tough logic puzzles that really test how well you’ve paid attention to each case.
You’ll get to explore full 3D crime scenes, hunt down clues, and figure out what actually happened. There’s a new system that lets you tag pieces of evidence to get more details and track exactly where each clue came from.
Once you’re in the courtroom, that’s where things really heat up. You’ll be cross-examining witnesses, presenting evidence, and deciding when to object or hold back. The judge doesn’t have infinite patience, though — screw up too many times and they’ll start losing trust in you. But if you catch someone lying, you can flip the whole case.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD

- Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
- Once The Burden of Truth is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Burden of Truth ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
- Open the Burden of Truth folder and run the exe application.
- Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
