Back to the Dawn throws you straight into a high-stakes prison break, dropping you in the middle of a mess of crime, corruption, and deep-rooted conspiracies. The game launched on March 26, 2026, bringing a raw, gritty story where every move counts.

You can land your character’s freedom—or get stuck behind bars for good—based on the choices you make.

You’ll pick your lead: Thomas the Fox, a journalist set up to take the fall, or Bob the Panther, an exhausted undercover agent with his own haunted past. Each has their own story, and both give you about 20 hours of unique gameplay. Thomas wants to clear his name. Bob? He’s out for revenge. Cinderia

The prison itself, Boulderton, feels alive. It’s huge, run by three rival gangs, with 47 inmates who each have their own quirks. You can fly below the radar, manipulate everyone around you, or go all-in on brute strength to become the prison’s top dog.

Breaking out isn’t just one path, either; maybe you crawl through the sewers, sneak across the roof, or try your luck with the infirmary. Every choice comes with real stakes and tough consequences.

Building your character is wide open. Go all in on fighting, or sharpen your sneaking and talking skills. Scavenge for scraps, craft your own escape tools, and keep one step ahead of the guards. The game doesn’t pull its punches.
