ACRES is all about growing crops and building up your farm in a chill but strategic way. You’re not just planting for fun — you’re running a real operation. The whole point is to grow the right crops in the right amounts to fill market orders before time runs out. If you can keep up with the demand, your farm expands, your tools get better, and you make more money.

But as things speed up, you’ll need to upgrade your equipment — like switching from hand tools to tractors — and even automate some of your farm to keep things running smoothly.

You’re constantly juggling what to plant, when to harvest, and which upgrades are worth it. The longer you can keep it all running, the better. The Legacy

Orders come in as tickets asking for specific crops in certain amounts. You’ve got a limited time to complete each one, and the faster you do it, the more money you earn. If you wait too long, the order loses value.

And if too many orders expire, your farm’s reputation drops, which can slow your progress. So yeah, there’s definitely a time-pressure element, but it’s not overwhelming — it just keeps things moving and makes each decision matter.

To grow crops, there’s a basic process you follow. First, you plow the land to clear it up and make the soil usable. Then you use planters to plant your seeds — and different seeds have different needs.

As your crops grow, weeds will pop up and try to mess things up, so you’ll need cultivators to clear them out.

You’ll have to adjust water, nutrients, and pH levels depending on what you’re growing. Once the crops are ready, you bring in the harvester and collect everything. It’s a full cycle that actually feels rewarding once you get the hang of it.
