GAME OVERVIEW
Broken Arrow throws you into real-time modern warfare, blending the layered strategy of a wargame with fast, gritty combat. It dropped on March 26, 2026, and it doesn’t mess around — you get over 300 real-world military units and a staggering 1,500 ways to tweak and customize your arsenal. The result? Every player ends up with their own unique battlefield style.
The campaign kicks things off with 19 handcrafted missions set in the Baltic region, all against the backdrop of rising global tension. You play through both American and Russian eyes, learning to juggle bold attacks and smart defenses as the conflict spirals.
Story mode isn’t the end, though. Skirmish maps—19 of them, all based on real places—let you face off against an ever-changing lineup of AI armies. Stellar Tactics
Right now, you can bring friends in for co-op against the computer or dive into intense 5v5 multiplayer. There’s talk of adding the option for AI teammates soon.
How you win depends a lot on the game’s Deck Building system. Vehicles and aircraft can be retooled with different weapons, armor, or support modules, so every move on the field is your call. Six core unit roles—Recon, Infantry, Fighting Vehicles, Support, Helicopters, and Airplanes—help keep things balanced but deadly.
The tactics really open up when you consider how you get your forces into the fight. Paratroopers, sea landings, heavy armor rolling across open ground—all possible. You can sneak special forces behind enemy lines to take down supply lines or light up targets for airstrikes that leave a mark.
Maps range from gritty industrial docks to tight city streets, and you can use the environment for ambushes or to outflank your enemy. The Scenario Editor deserves a nod, too—it’s code-free, so anyone can build custom missions (even with cutscenes) and share them on Steam Workshop.
Now that it’s been out for a few days—today’s March 31, 2026—the game’s player count has exploded. People love the detail, the sheer scale, and it’s sitting pretty with a “Very Positive” rating. Fans of the old Wargame series see Broken Arrow as the next step up: easier to dive into but just as tough for anyone who wants a real tactical challenge.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD

- Once The Broken Arrow Baltic Battalion is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Broken Arrow Baltic Battalion ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
- Open the Broken Arrow Baltic Battalion folder and run the exe application.
- Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
