GAME OVERVIEW

AETHUS drops you right into the quiet emptiness of space—well, until corporate greed comes crashing in. This is the first game from Pawsmonaut Games, and it just launched on March 6, 2026. No Early Access, no waiting around for patches.

You get the full, polished thing from the start. You step into the boots of Maeve, a former engineer for the Astral Resource Corporation (ARC), finally free from ARC’s planet-chewing operations. Now, she’s out to take over her grandfather’s forgotten outpost.

With Roland, your snarky but strangely endearing AI sidekick, you start carving out a new life underground and stumble onto a conspiracy that proves ARC’s “science” wasn’t about science at all. Poker Night at the Inventory

Gameplay mixes story and survival in a way that feels fresh—think “underground Subnautica meets Satisfactory,” but with more heart. You’ll build your own glass-walled hideaway in glowing jungles or dry, echoing caves, piecing everything together with a physics-based system that feels almost too real.

Once The AETHUS is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to AETHUS ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the AETHUS folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
