Poker Night at the Inventory Remastered is back, and if you ever called it the “Citizen Kane of poker games,” you’re not alone.

It finally hit the digital tables again on March 5, 2026, thanks to Skunkape Games—the same folks who gave Sam & Max their glow-up.

After seven years lost in licensing limbo, the Inventory is open once more. That means you can face off against the original crew: Max, Strong Bad, Tycho, and The Heavy. Desynced

But this isn’t just the old game dusted off and put back on sale. The whole club looks and feels brand new. Skunkape went all-in on the visuals—high-res models, lighting that actually fits where these characters come from (the Heavy’s Badlands? Looks like it now), and smoother animations that fix the stiff, awkward bits from 2010.

And for anyone who remembers the “hat-simulator” days, yes, the Team Fortress 2 items are back. Knock out your opponents when they’re short on cash and you’ll earn classics like the Iron Curtain or Dangeresque, Too? shades, complete with a new “Reissued” label in your TF2 backpack.

The real magic, though, is under the hood. They rebuilt the poker engine from scratch, so the AI actually plays smart poker but still acts like themselves.
