UMIGARI drops you right into the thick fog off Japan’s coast with nothing but your boat, a harpoon, and the ocean ahead.

You go out alone, hunt down fish one by one, sell what you catch, grab fuel, and slowly fix up your gear so you can push farther out. At first, everything feels calm—almost peaceful. But keep pushing into deeper waters and things start to get… weird.

The whole game really leans into precision. Lining up the harpoon takes some real timing, and every fish has its own quirks. Miss your shot or swing too early, and you waste fuel and time. It keeps you on your toes—every encounter actually means something. SUPER BOMBERMAN COLLECTION

As you pocket more cash, you can trick out your boat and tools. More speed and bigger fuel tanks open up the map, letting you reach new islands and secret spots you couldn’t get to before. Progress comes at a nice pace, so upgrades feel good but never overwhelming.

You’ll find bits of boat gear scattered around the sea too. Some help you fish better, others make exploring less risky. Each one changes how you play, so you end up poking around, testing new tricks, and chasing your curiosity through all that fog.

And the fish? They’re not just mindless targets. Some dart away when they spot you. Others move in ways that just feel off, making you uneasy in a way you can’t quite put your finger on. The deeper you go, the stranger these creatures get. It’s unsettling, but not in-your-face terrifying.

You’re looking at about 2 to 4 hours to see everything, and the horror vibe stays pretty light. This isn’t a game that’s out to scare your socks off—it’s more about atmosphere and tension. Once The UMIGARI is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to UMIGARI ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the UMIGARI folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
