GAME OVERVIEW

Take charge as the park manager and build the wildest zoo the world’s ever seen—one packed with creatures straight out of prehistory. You’re not just working with lions and tigers here. You’re bringing back extinct legends, making sure they thrive, all while juggling the needs of your guests, staff, and a bunch of very hungry dinosaurs.

You get to discover, hatch, and release over 50 extinct species into your park. Imagine watching Woolly Mammoths lumber around or catching a glimpse of a Spinosaurus on the prowl. You’re rewriting extinction and creating a living, unpredictable ecosystem.

They’ll eat, drink, sleep, and interact with each other—forming herds, making friends, or just doing their own thing, thanks to realistic, dynamic systems.

Your playground is massive. Shape the land however you want—carve out rivers, pile up mountains, and place every building exactly where you see fit. The creative tools give you total freedom to make a park that’s truly yours and that draws visitors from all over.

Want to go even further? Deck out your zoo with themed prefabs, or dip into the Steam Workshop to grab or share community-made restaurants, restrooms, and viewing platforms. No two parks need to feel the same—make it personal.

Of course, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes. You’ll need to lay out smart infrastructure, manage resources, and count on your staff to restock kiosks and keep those feeders full. Keep things tidy too—waste and repairs won’t handle themselves.

And when you want to get a closer look, just jump into First Person Mode. Wander through habitats, check out the animals up close with binoculars, or just kick back on a bench and soak in the world you’ve built. It’s your park—see it from every angle.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Prehistoric Kingdom is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Prehistoric Kingdom ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Prehistoric Kingdom folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
