GAME OVERVIEW

Get ready to absolutely lose it—this game is straight-up nightmare fuel.

So, in Skinfreak, you play as Belle, who’s just trying to do her job. Her boss calls her in late one night to install some software in this massive office building way out on the edge of town. Sounds boring, right? Yeah, not even close.

What should’ve been a chill night turns into a full-blown horror show when the Skinfreak—the city’s most messed-up serial killer—shows up and decides Belle’s skin would look great in his collection. No joke, this guy is sick. Cal & Bomba

The whole game feels like you’re trapped inside one of those old-school ’80s slasher flicks—total B-movie vibes with a splash of that giallo-style horror, so everything’s drenched in creepy lighting and over-the-top gore. It’s cinematic, voice-acted, and honestly feels like a playable horror movie.

But while you’re messing around, you’ve got to stay alive—there are puzzles to solve, inventory items to manage, and a note-taking system that actually helps without holding your hand. No glowing markers telling you what to do—just you, your brain, and a psycho hunting you down.

There’s a whole cast of weird and unsettling NPCs you’ll run into, each with their own dialogue trees and story bits, which makes the place feel alive… or at least used to be. There’s also a creepy prologue where you’re driving a taxi, which weirdly sets the tone perfectly before things go totally off the rails.

And if you need a break from all the terror? There are two retro mini-games you can actually play in-game. One’s a point-and-click horror game (House of the Necromancer), and the other’s a brutal side-scrolling shooter (Shotgun) where you just go nuts blasting punks apart.

Open the Skinfreak folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
