GAME OVERVIEW

The Legacy is this creepy co-op survival horror game that’s honestly kinda intense. The whole story kicks off in the ‘90s, when our hometown gets hit with a curse. Our grandpa — who was basically a Ukrainian forest wizard, or “molfar” — was supposed to sacrifice one of us to some dark forest gods.

That’s the tradition: every 66 years, one kid gets taken. But he couldn’t do it. So instead, he shipped me and my siblings off to Kyiv to protect us…

which saved our lives but totally screwed the town. The whole area got wrecked — death, destruction, everything. Little Rocket Lab

The survival part of the game is no joke. You’ve got to keep your character fed, hydrated, and warm — especially with the cold Carpathian mountain weather hitting hard. If you’re not by a fire or in shelter at night, you’re screwed.

There’s also a huge magical side to this game. Svetlograd and the nearby villages are full of legends — witches, rituals, mythical creatures, you name it.

You can make potions, collect herbs and either blast monsters with bullets or use ancient rituals to fight back. So yeah, guns and magic are both on the table.

The world is massive and open, with tons of weird places to explore — from abandoned buildings to haunted woods every new playthrough is randomized, so where stuff spawns — weapons, food, enemies, everything — changes every time.

Once The The Legacy is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Legacy ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Legacy folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
