GAME OVERVIEW

Your candle burns in real-time, lasting up to 4 hours. Once it goes out, that’s it—you can’t relight it. So, you’ve got a limited amount of time to make it count before darkness takes over.

Explore a spooky, decaying manor, rummaging through drawers and searching for loot. But it’s not just a peaceful stroll—there are 4 terrifying monsters lurking around, and you’ll have to avoid them while you uncover the secrets hidden in the castle’s walls. Head to the carnival and try your hand at 6 different minigames at the various stalls to win tickets. You can exchange those tickets for fun prizes at the carnival office. As you interact with others, you’ll have the chance to make allies or build rivalries, depending on your choices.

Use Esc or Spacebar to open the settings and access your inventory. Move around with WASD, and if you need to sprint, hold Shift. Press E to interact with objects, and Left Click to throw or fire your weapon. Use Right Click to inspect things closely.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The The Candle is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Candle ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Candle folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
