GAME OVERVIEW

In the year of 2024 E.O.T.B is a first-person psychological horror game set in the creepy world of the Backrooms. Drawing inspiration from the eerie vibe of liminal spaces, I’ve created a cinematic yet unsettling take on this bizarre dimension. PROTOCOL 11

You play as Oliver, a mechanic working in a secret underground lab where a shady non-government organization is messing around with a time machine. When one of their experiments goes wrong, it opens a portal to the Backrooms, a place where time and space go totally haywire. Your mission Find a way back to reality or get lost forever in this twisted horror realm.

Just so you know, I built this game all by myself, so please cut me some slack if translations aren’t perfect or if the graphics optimization tool is a bit tricky. I focused on creating an intense atmosphere and stunning visuals with Unreal Engine 5.3, using:

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Echoes of The Backrooms is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Echoes of The Backrooms ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Echoes of The Backrooms folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
