Tales & Tactics is all about mixing roguelike strategy with squad-based autobattling. It’s a super chill single-player experience where there’s no rush or pressure—you’ve got all the time you need to get into the game’s mechanics and plan your moves. Intravenous 2

You’ll guide your character through The Grand Tournament, an epic annual test of skill, across 3 acts. Face off against rival characters and tough bosses while you build a squad from a bunch of cool fighters like Fae, Dragons, and Treefolk, or even Skeletons, Ghouls, and Orcs. You can collect Tanks, Healers, Mages, Engineers, and more, using their combos to swing the battle in your favor.

Gear up with powerful Equipment, expand your Army Size, unlock new tiers of Units, and grab unique Level-Up Perks to boost your squad. Each run is different, so you’ll need to craft the most powerful team you can.

With every playthrough, you’ll unlock new features whether you win or lose. This includes new Perks, Units, and Items, with an Unlock system that adds depth rather than just power you can control how quickly you introduce these new systems.

After you ace the Grand Tournament, try the Challenge Climb for tougher difficulty and new mechanics. Or, get into Asynchronous PVP to battle your friends or players worldwide and show off your tactical skills!
